Doyle Announces Town Hall Meeting on Climate Change

Aug 7, 2019 Issues: Energy and the Environment

Pittsburgh, PA -- U.S. Representative Mike Doyle (PA-18) announced that he will hold a town hall meeting on Climate Change on August 14, 2019, at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hall and Museum from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Climate Change is one of the most important issues currently facing Congress – rising global temperatures and an increase in the frequency of extreme weather events.

There will be two panels of experts to discuss reducing the greenhouse gas emissions that cause climate change, the technology that will be needed to meet these goals, and the role of the workforce in the energy economy. In addition, Congressman Doyle will speak about action underway at the federal level to address climate change, and there will be an opportunity for people in the audience to ask questions.
