Press Release

Washington, DC – U.S. Representative Mike Doyle (PA-18) announced today that effective today at close of business, all office representing Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District would be temporarily closed due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

“My staff and I are closely monitoring local developments regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus and collaborating closely with state and local officials,” Congressman Doyle said.

“At the suggestion of the Allegheny County Department of Health, our Congressional offices will be temporarily closed as of 5:00 p.m. today in order to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. My staff and I will be teleworking during normal business hours, however, so we will still be able to serve the people of Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania’s 18th Congressional District.

“If you have questions or need assistance, please call one of my district offices and leave a voice mail message, and a member of my staff will respond to your call.

“The situation regarding COVID-19 is changing daily, if not hourly. My staff and I will continually monitor developments, respond accordingly, and re-open our offices as soon as conditions dictate.”
