August 14, 2003, Rep. Doyle had the opportunity
to make a brief training flight with a KC-135
air crew of the 171st Air Refueling Wing
of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard.
Afterward, he said, "I was impressed by
the skill, dedication, and professionalism
of these Air National Guard members. They
deserve our deepest gratitude and support
for doing this important work." |

14, 2003 -- Homestead Mayor Betty Esper and the
Homestead Council presented a certificate of appreciation
to Representative Doyle for his assistance in
securing a FEMA Fire Operations and Firefighter
Safety Equipment grant for $57,600.00. This grant
will be used to replace obsolete firefighting
equipment that doesn't meet current federal standards
for firefighter protection. |
